A beautiful scene with those lovely autumn colors a stark contrast, to the high number of casualties both sides suffered here.

A lovely scene and very inviting road which makes the viewer want to follow where it may lead. The beautiful autumn colours disguise the horrors of war - although the rustic fence on the left does remind me of a line of soldiers with rifles erect!

Poignant image - nature's attempt to heal the scars of war and the folly of man.

A poignant nostalgia -feeling to this-like a longing for peace after past horrors. Beautiful foliage.
