Wolkenstein, Val Gardena, Dolomiti

An old image, still taken with a Nikon D70 and 18-70mm kit zoom.
I was inspired by EJ's photos of the Dolomites to revisit some of my old files - and what a spectacular area it is!

Thanks, It is a wonderful area. I wonder if you could just brighten up the sunlit structure a tiny bit. i think it would really make this photo pop. Gorgeous light on the mountain.

Thanks EJ - I'll give your suggestion a try.

When working with these old files - one suddenly realises how brittle they were...we've become quite spoilt!

E.J. makes such a good point, the lovely sun kissed peak would marry beautifully with a brighter foreground building to lift the large swathe of dark forest! It is such a beautiful area.
