I'm clearly missing something - I have History enabled (save to Metadata, with Detailed edit log items), and can see it when I open File->File Info - the Photoshop tab is there. However, I can only see the top part - I can't scroll down. I can scroll down in other sections (Raw Data for example). The scroll bar is there, I simply can't move it (I can't select that window and use the up/down arrow keys either). Any ideas?

One thing I can think of is closing PS and restarting. Worth a try, I guess. I find things sometimes freeze when I have too much stuff going on at the same time......
Do you have preferences set to "save log file...."text file" ? "both"?
does this happen with all your files, or just "recovered"?
What version are you using?-does it need updating?

Cynthia - thanks for the reply. Have tried a close/open/reboot - no difference. I'm only saving as metadata. Happens with all files, even a newly opened one, it's just this is the one I need it for (computer shut down unexpectedly, hence the recovered :)). Version is the latest 20.0.1 (CC 2019).

Note, I just tried saving to both metadata and text file - all the info is there in the text file, and it all seems to be there in the metadata too (the scroll bar gets smaller as I do more actions). I just can't scroll to them!

Can anyone else confirm this works ok for them?

Hi Andrew-I can scroll on the site. (I'm on a Mac).  At least you can see the whole thing as text?
I'd ask Adobe support- they have walked me through a number of odd issues. Or look in the knowledge base?

Hope you find an answer.

Thanks Cynthia - using Windows, so perhaps a bug. Unfortunately only had the metadata enabled before, but I can at least read the hard to decipher info in the "Raw Data" section. And now in text file if it happens again.

I've posted on the Adobe forums, will see how it goes (have searched the kb, etc).

Just an FYI, I can view it within the Metadata section within Bridge. Still not ideal, but better...

Do you mean in "Edit History" -I see that.
In bridge I can see the same thing with "File info" drop-down (under "File") - does that not work for you either? For me it looks the same as in PS. I can scroll that down.

Glad you found an alternative anyway.

Hmmm- didn't know that-I usually don't save this stuff, but I thought I'd see if it worked since you asked. Do you re-use the info to re-create something, or work on it further? Just curious.
Glad you found an alternative anyway.
Have a few images from a set that I want to edit similarly - I got this one looking just how I wanted it, but well, didn't remember exactly what I did (more an artsy type shot - for most of my bird/nature work, I usually don't do much at all). Good at least that I've learnt some more about it now (and you have too it seems :)).

Just saw your edit - didn't notice the File Info option before, but yes, it's the same as within Photoshop (I cannot scroll). I did mean the "Edit History" option.
