Paul I like both very much I think this is more majestic since the lighting is more dramatic. The layers of color densities along with the slopes make for a strong compositors!!!

The Cabin anchors the image extremely well. I Like it!!! 8)

btw... have you played around with the photo filters (81b) in CS .... I like the results :)

Stunning, peaceful location, marvelously presented!!

Wow, what a different sense of place from your other take of this. Both beautiful and you well demonstrate how very different two takes of the same scene can be. I've got another suggestion for a completely different take-- a long pano with this perspective but cropping just above the dark treeline and stitching more horizontal trees.

Beautiful shot. Love the layers of light, shadow and snow. One fairly big nit, though. The shoreline is listing several degrees left--needs a tad straightening up. Otherwise, lovely, and brrrrrr -- cold! :shock:
