Born in Chicago, Paul grew up in Florida and returned to Illinois for college and law school. His legal career has been devoted to representing unions and working people. He travels throughout the state for his practice, and his camera and tripod come along. He loves the gentle, subtle landscape of his home state.
His favorite subjects remain his children whom he loves to photograph playing sports when he's not coaching them. He also enjoys watching and photographing the dismal Chicago pro sports teams, and hopes some day to see the Cubs in a World Series.
Paul was invited to become a moderator in 2004 in the Naturescapes Elements of Humankind gallery which is now the Travel and Culture gallery. He is inspired by the talent and creativity of the photographers who participate there. You may see more of his work at his website.
