One thing I like about kayaks is I can float in only 2-3 inches of water. I could stick my had straight into the water and it wasn't completely covered. While paddling, I found a penny and a nickel...

Very nice! That water is so clear and calm. What is covering part of the cockpit? It doesn't look like a spray skirt.

It is a full neoprene spray skirt.

Ken, I've never seen a spray skirt with an opening in the front center. Is there one, or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Just curious.

But, when you pull back the skirt, all you see is black. The boat is made of a carbon fiber/kevlar sandwich. Very light!
