I took this photo from my South Shore hotel room in Montreal, PQ, Canada last September on the night of my arrival. Sunset photos with the downtown Montreal skyline are very difficult to get because of the hilliness of the land. Even my Montreal friends were jealous of this one.
Canon D60, EF 28-70mm f2.8L, ISO 100, f22.

Can see why your friends were jealous. I really like the orange in the water. Was that reflected from the sky or the lights of the city? Either way, that splash in the water is a great bonus.
