This image is from ENP last year. I like taking some candid images when possible while going after my birds.

These girls were skillful in getting close to the Cormorants :roll: and were checking them out closely!!! :)

The expression of the girl is great and I like the pattern of the cormorants and even the yellow of her shirt picks up their throat color.

Where was this taken? The cormorants are so tame. I'd never dream of in this part of the world ... :roll:
Or perhaps we bird photogs can learn a thing or two from these kids on how to get close to our subjects. :wink:

KK that is Anhinga Trail in Everglades National Park. The Cormorants are used to people and just sit there. You can also get very close to Black Vultures. :)
