The side lighting is great. I'd prefer the wing be parallel to the lens and some fill would have opened the shadows.

A lovely shot Mac. The background is great. I like the light in the termen. :)
Shooting butterflies is fun. Getting one this sharp must having given you a lot of pleasure.

Very nice shot of what I can only imagine is a difficult butterfly if they behave in your area like in mine with almost constant motion. Also these smaller butterflies are more difficult than most larger species.
