We apologize if you are having problems signing in. With our latest website upgrades there have been some changes that may cause a sign in problem until cookies are cleared using the steps below.
  1. Navigate to Forums Home in the website navigation bar and click on the link Delete all board cookies located under the Browse Forums page title.
  2. Close all NatureScapes tabs/windows and exit the browser entirely.
  3. Open the browser and make sure it's not opening up any NatureScapes pages.
  4. Delete the NSN-specific cookies in your browser or, if you don't have an objection, delete all cookies. The NSN cookies have either .naturescapes.net or .www.naturescapes.net as part of their name.   5. Exit the browser again, reopen it, and try to sign in again.

Biography

I'm a naturalist with a special interest in insects, plants, and birds. Photography goes hand in hand with my interest in nature. Many of my photographs are portaits of insects, flowers, and birds. I also have an interest in abstracts that show patterns and unusual shapes. My goal is to create simple, well-designed images that are graphically successful, not just documentary natural history photographs.

Butterflies are a special interest, both as a writer and a photographer. I've written articles on butterflies for Massachusetts Butterflies (published by the Massachusetts chapter of the North American Butterfly Association) and contributed to a forthcoming guide to good butterfly sites in Massachusetts. My butterfly pictures have appeared in American Butterflies, on the cover pages of nature photography web sites, and in the Museum of Science (Boston) butterfly exhibit.
