Nicely composed and good light. I liked this area as well as the pond itself. The image needs some CCW rotation...

CCW rotation needed here Vito, but you've captured a very nice scene. Sweet light on the mountains and good lead-in line with the FG water. 8) :D

You have a good eye Vito. River and its reflection leads you right into the picture. Won't mention the rotation since it has already been commented on. Opps, I mentioned it.

Alfred, That's a bird :!:  We'll turn Vito into an Avian Photographer yet, big glass and all.

lol, i can't afford to 'know birds' ;)

hm...i think we have some barrel distortion on this one...
i believe i 'leveled' the pictures judging by the two taller trees (dead) on the left side...using the reflections...
but then there's the trees on the right that are off...

what tools in PS do you use to fix barrel distortion?
Vito

btw...that's no bird  , i opened the original, and it's just a 'beaverfied' tree....showing the light wood...
sorry ;)

Vito,

I knew it was not a bird. Was tweaking Alfred and you.

Good point on the trees and the rotation. I did not notice that.

I think its Filters, Distort, Lens correction if I remember right. If you don't have CS2 you can do it with the Spherize filter but this image doesn't really need it if its just leveled. Other than that, its a beautiful shot.

thanks ej..i'll have to play..
i remember (from making graphics a couple years ago) that one of the distort filters you could move where the effect was added..
i though it was spherize...but i tried it, and it wasn't moving lol

thanks for looking!
