My interest in photography started when I was still in grade school and received a Kodak Instamatic camera for Christmas one year. Over the years my interest in nature subjects grew, starting with landscapes and wildflowers eventually moving in to wildlife and birds. Workshops, seminars, and photo tours have been the source of my "formal education".
Photography is a creative outlet for me and I truly enjoy the time spent out doors in pursuit of images. I love to travel and have visited and photographed some incredible places.
I like to share my work through slide programs for local camera clubs and other organizations. My work is published regularly in the local Audubon chapter's newsletter and website.
