Choc Labrador Retriever

I do not think I have posted this on NSN before. This outing was my first time using my 'fishermans float' to photograph water dogs. i misjudged how far Kuda would jump and got pretty wet the first time. I missed being able to shoot from my float this summer and hope to get more on the level water shots like this next year.

Great action Cheryl I like the dog moving in and you got him at the right moment!!!!!

I like the shutter speed you used which made the water look natural. Sometimes with very high settings looks strange. Do you remember the speed?

Your model seemed to having lots of fun :) :)

Thanks I find it difficult to get right every time since it all has to do with distance and angle.

That splash is very natural!!!!

Perfect timing. What a determined face and wonderful ears. I love the reflection as is, but wonder if you took any with the full reflection and how that looked.

I love the coming towards you at an angle pose, and the look of concentration on the dog's face! Great freeze of the water action! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)

Great shot Cheryl! Love the splash and the great timing.

I hope you are rehabbing nicely.

The waterfowl festival and field retriever trials are at Magee this weekend 09/25 and 09/26. In addition, the fall warblers are increasing in numbers. This is about the peak for them I guess.

Take care and good shooting to you,

BZ

I think I've seen this before...

Whether I have or not, it's a wonderful shot! Everything about the dog's position is perfect!
