This was an image I've been struggling with, and Alfred's last post reminded me of. Then while getting it ready for this post I decided to do a significant crop to change this from a vertical shot to horizontal which also got rid of a cluttered bottom part. I've also done a little curves work to get rid of a green tint. Any other suggestions, as always, are welcome.

This is at a vacant block in downtown Chicago that while awaiting development has been turned into a summer art area for high school students. This small area was turned into a garden where the kids raise some crops and sell them across the street in the plaza at the farmers market.

I like the warmth that Al added. However, which version has the true color of the building. The only suggestion I could make here would have to have been done when the picture was shot. All the lines in the image are strong vertical lines so IMO this would lend itself as a visually stronger image if it were shot as a vertical with a WA lens and that would also emphasize the leaning effect which adds some nice tension here.

The WA is a good idea btw Paul should go back and shoot the scene with 4x5 and perhaps use a Schneidr 65 f8 Super Angulon!

Now we are getting somewhere...... I like this series it just shows you that You can see a lot by observing

The warm colours are nice in the second, but I like the fact the building has been strraightened!

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the warm colors, but the original is truer to the actual building. I did shoot this as a vertical, but the FG in the bottom was just too clutter so I cropped it to a horizontal shot. I had shot several others in the garden and just as I went over to take this one, an instructor came over and told me that no photos were allowed except by students, so I took this and left. I suppose this was in a "school" so they could restrict photos and did not want to press the issue.

I think the straightened buildings helped a lot.
