Red Deer-Rut

Caught this deer on my 5D trial, later in the morning than my earlier posts. Would have liked it's head tuned my way a bit, but still happy to have been there. Not much PS work, other than a pano crop and h/c. 5D 500 F4 IS. 1/320 f4.5 ISO 200. AWB and program. monopod.

Very nice shot Dave. Good choice on the crop for an excellent comp. I really like the rim lighting on the rack and the breath is a big bonus. Thanks for sharing.

I think this is an excellent shot. Great exposure and crop. Catching the bugling and the steam coming from the mouth adds a lot to the picture.
