Very nice shot. Suffering a little from the scan, soft and grainy.

I get the impression he's looking away from the camera, but I can't be sure. His head in profile would be better IMO.

Welcome to Wildlife and thanks for posting Michael! The setting and colors are beautiful, especially the grass.

You might try a bit more USM to sharpen the image. You can also post up to 650 pixels on the long side or 400x800 for a pano.

Welcome to Wildlife Michael !!!! This is so close it hurts All I would like is the head just visible? Seems the animal is looking away!!! I like the foreground grass color and bg plus the tree seems to help anchor the image !!! 8) 8) 8)
