Along the secondary highway through Kananaskis Country, not very far from the Spray Lakes, this coyote (Canis latrans) was perfectly undisturbed when I got out of the car to snap a few shots of him. He would walk around the snow covered ground, every now and then managing to find something edible underneath the snow. And well... what gets in has to get out right?

When you got to go.........my dog always turns his back and looks away - thinks we can't see him if he does that! :D

Dogs always look embarrassed when pooping, and coyotes are no exception! Cute!

Nice shot. I'm sure capturing it was a great relief.

Excellent specimen. I hope you got some shots of him when he wasn't taking care of business.
