Hi folks - it's been a long time since I've posted, and I'm glad to see a lot of familiar names still here. I'm hoping to have more time to participate in online forums than has been the case for the past year!

Anyway, here's an image from my trip to the Pacific N.W. last May. Weather was unstable, raining more often than not, but this gave me an opportunity for some interesting images at the interface of storm and sun. This scene from Oregon's Cannon Beach is one of them. Storm clouds kept rolling in during the two days I was there, and resulted in unusual and beautiful light at dawn. Before anyone asks...yes, it really was lavender 8)

What a surreal image. Love the colors and the composition showing the tide marching across the beach and shallows.

i have a great friend that lives there, and shoots haystack rock and the needle rocks that are in distance in this image...wonderful lighting and coloring....clouds are always an added bonus for drama in landscapes, and you did it here masterfully!

Strange colour. I like the mood of this one with the relentless ocean and storm both moving in from the right.

Outstanding, love those purple hues, layered waves on the sand, and overall composition.
