I must be the least imaginative person when it comes to image titles. :( I simply cannot come up with something smart, witty or interesting, so please folks, tell me what this image should be called! :)

This picture was taken on Friday night, at a wonderful location that is only about 2.5 miles from where I live. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of colors in the sky that evening, but I am still very pleased with the images that I got.

(Edit: corrected slight barrel distortion, as per E.J.'s suggestoin).
Image
Technical Data
Camera: Canon EOS 20D
Lens: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L USM
Focal Length: 17mm
Aperture: f/18
Shutter Speed: 30 sec.
Filters: Hoya Moose Polarizer + Hitech 2-stop GND just above the rocks + Hitech 3-stop GND at the horizon
Post Processing: There is no post-processing done to this image other than converting from RAW using BB Pro. Minor levels and saturation adjustements were done during the RAW conversion.

Hope you enjoy! Please be honest in your critique, I'm here to learn...

Rob

A beautiful shot. I would correct the slight amount of barrel distortion though. Other than that its gorgeous.

Really good, I like the wet look of the rocks.

E.J.: thank you for pointing out the barrel distortion - I had not noticed it. The image has been corrected.

While you're at it do a little work on the vignetting as well.

It is a very nice shot though!

Love the FG rocks and the effect of 30 sec on the water is amazing! While I like the colors in the sky, IMO, the movement of the clouds distracts a bit.

Love the sharpness of the rocks contrasting the blur of the sea.
