EOS 10D + 100-400 handheld, ISO 400.
RAW file processed in PS CS and cropped at the bottom and left side. The very first morning I was trying my new 10D with birds, I had several Anysoptera red dragonflies doing their mating flight in front of my hide. So, I decided to handhold my lens and try to get these insects in flight with a decent composition... They were very fast for my skills and camera, so the only usable shots were the distant ones: cropping was necessary to obtain something interesting... Hope you'll enjoy it; all critiques and comments are always welcome! M.Sc. Bruno D'Amicis - Nature & Wildlife Photography
