Bighorn sheep lamb - ©2005 Bob Smith

Found my first bighorn sheep lamb yesterday evening while shooting with my friends Craig & Susan Hilton (who should also be posting here!)....

I would like to have separated the lamb from the background a bit more. I used a shallower depth of field to try and achieve that affect, but the goat was too close to the rocks for this to be as effective as I would like.
(Warning: This is the first of a series)...

D2x, 80-400VR, ISO 200, 1/2000 sec, f/6.3, -.3 Exp Comp, handheld

I love it Bob and hope there will be many others !!!!! 8) 8)

You did excellent separating the lamb!!! Would have moved the camera position to separate the crevice from the ears and might consider a bit of a crop from the top!!! 8)

Very Sweet image !!!! Can't wait for the next ones!!!! 8) 8) 8) Big Congrats!!!! 8)
