Same guy that I posted a couple of days ago. Last one. Here he opened his eyes, looked at me as if to say "You woke me up!", and then went back to sleep.

I really like this image especially since he seems so docile for a snapper. I did a bit more ps processing (curves, sharpening and shadow highlight), hope you don't mind.

Looks Great Rob!!! You have done the critter justice 8)

That is a laid back turtle!!! I think it had been eating questionable mushrooms  8) 8)

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Rob, don't mind at all. In fact I appreciate you doing so. It shows me what can be done in PS. That is my weak area, or I should say, one of my weak areas! I will practice on this image trying to match your improvements. Thanks a bunch!!!

Amazing how it matches the log and is just hanging out there. Is it possible to adjust the contrast and sharpen a little, teeny bit? Focus appears to be on the L. leg, but a little selective sharpening might bring the nostrils and eye in a bit.

Oops! Rob had the same thought and that works a lot better. Thanks!

That's a neat shot. I never would have expected to see a snapper lounging on a log like that. I like the angle you chose for this shot the best.
