One of the hazards of walking a young dog in the forest are the numerous poisonous plants and berries, such as the striking looking Paris quadrifolia.
Consequently, one soon learns which culprits to avoid and steer clear off ;)

Thanks for stopping by, have a relaxing and hopefully cooler day.

Lovely framing and composition Sinuhe. It is interesting what defence mechanisms plants employ although finding out can be distasteful and unpleasant as indicated. Hoping its a bit cooler for you and have a good weekend.

Great composition and use of DOF, Sinuhe. Good lesson for your dog, and saves you a trip to the vet on the weekend. :)

Good use of selective focus and composition in this lovely frame!  Yes, we have to be aware to protect our four legged family members - thankfully ours only eats grass.  :)  One of my previous German Shepherds used to love to pick blackberries off the hedgerows.
