The cities of Alpharetta and Roswell GA requested its citizens send in favorite places within the local area known as "North Fulton Favorites". The Roswell Photographers Society (a photo club) was asked to photograph the top 50 places for a public display. The display is still circulating around various banks, public buildings, parks, and historical sites.

I shot a couple of the locations that were old barns and others that interested me. I met the family that originally owned this property. The current owners gave me permission to shoot it. This was a great opportunity to get to know the city leaders, historical society, and members of the community in a fun way. It even led to some sales which paid for my gear last year.

Looks like a great old barn. I'd would possibly have liked this shot with the barn a little less clipped and shot from the front a bit more. Just a personal taste.

Comments appreciated.
Angle and clipping were necessary for the best view of this barn. Behind the barn is a modern style "pink" stucco house and the back edge of the barn had something I didn't want in the photo, but I don't remember what it was. I shot all around it even trying to contrast the old barn with the new house but no other angles or comps worked for me.

A pink house next to a red barn?? You didn't want that in the shot? I love red barns and I like the way you captured the receding road here. I've got a red barn shot to post and struggled with blowing out the white in the roof. You did a nice job of keeping the roof toned down while getting the richness of the red.
