This photograph is of the same long tailed weasel I posted last week but this photograph was taken earlier in the morning just after it arrived on the scene. This shot was taken just outside the Beaverhill Bird Observatory around Toefield, Alberta.

The warm light is the result of it being about an hour after sunrise when I managed to get this photograph.

I could have cropped this differently (as a vertical for instance) but I like this cropping as it gives the weasel somewhere to look to.

I like how you cropped it ... with him looking off in the distance like this. It's probably just my crappy monitor at work, but I'd be tempted to lighten up the saturation just a notch with this photo. Overall though, it's a sweet image! 8)

Very cute shot with great light. I would crop a bit from the right.

Wow, this weasel has a modeling career in its future! First a head on shot, now a profile. In sweet light to boot. I'm with Cheryl on a bit off the right, but that's a matter of taste. Great shot Paul. 8)

What a star this little weasel turned out to be Paul! Another fine shot of this alert little go-getter and what sweet light. The inclusion of more environment in this image is a real bonus. The freshly turned soil and the grubby front paws tell a real story. 8) :D

What a great shot of a hyperactive animal!

At the risk of making this rather square, I'd remove some more from the right and add back seom of what you cropped off the top; seems a little tight up there.
