One of these days I'll be able to get an image of a cheetah with the beautiful amber eyes glowing the way they do. In the meantime, I'll settle for this.

On a recent trip to Botswana we spotted this guy with his two brothers. His left front paw was injured and he was limping. Our guide, Nick, thought he would heal and his brothers would be able to hunt for him. Nick had also recently seen the mother of these 3 and said she was badly injured. Tough life.

I have to agree with Carol about Africa, "This country has touched my soul". It doesn't cause that reaction in everyone but it sure got me!

Lovely cheetah shot. Nice pose. Good end to the story by the sounds of it.

He's lucky to have his brothers with him.

Great shot Cindy.

Nice shot with good detail. I would like a bit more room behind him as he is looking that way. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful image. I really like how he's looking in the opposite direction of the way his body is going ... makes the image more compelling for me.

I'd imagine it would only take one trip to Africa to probably change my submission for this motif. 8)
