I spent the last 5 days out in sw wyoming and was able to get some cool images of the wild horses out there. Unfortunately, the light was never very good but there was some good action.

Canon 1DII, 500f4, ISO 250, f13, 1/200 sec.

Yep!!! I just did!!

Always great to see horses in the forum Rob - we get very few. :( One would be great, two even better, but you got three!!! I love the composition here with the three running together in that vast landscape. Beautiful shot Rob, you just made my day!! 8) :D

Beautifully done! It really gives a sense of their wide open habitat. I like the effect of the blowing manes and tails.

Beautiful shot. I've tried to see them around rock springs but never been able to watch them. They are really beautiful. :D :)

cool, but why the area behind the third horse, no real need to center this type of image. maybe a pano crop would also look good.

Great action shot. I love the wind through the manes and the overall colors. This would be really nice blown up big.

Excellent! (And I'm not really a horse fan.) The blowing manes and running really capture the spirit of the open range. 8) Great job making the best out of the situation.

A bit more room on the left would have been nice.

Love the shot kind of reminds me of our high country in Australia with Wild Brumbys. Not sure what the numbers are like and where to shoot them but I'd like to do a similar sort of shot one day.
