This is a repost of an image I posted a couple weeks ago. My monitor is new and the first post was before I calibrated my monitor. Now I have calibrated it with Monaco Optics. I would be most grateful for comments about the content of the image and about how it looks on your monitor. Before calibration, the comments were that the image looked washed out with highlights much too hot. If you make comments about the way it looks on your monitor, would you please tell me if you have a CRT or LCD? TIA. Canon 1d2, 300mm + 2x, ISO 400. For the first few exposures, the extra set of ears were not visible. Then all of a sudden, there they were in the viewfinder.

Just checked you're original image and this looks much better to me (CRT monitor here). A cute shot. :)

Bob,

This looks better than the original but you may have good too far on boosting the contrast and or saturation. I am on a CRT.

Bob I'm an LCD and looks a bit hot Much better than the original !! Suggest posting an image with a less tonal range Should be a lot easier to judge The colors look fine and see no cast !!

I see why you like this image Would be neat in late afternoon light 8) 8)

This looks much better on my CRT Bob, the whites are fine with good detail and the colour looks pretty good too. I would say pretty good all round. 8) :D
