  D70, 80-400VR, 1/250, F8 These lions are feeding on the same dead hippo as my previous hippo/croc shot. That night we heard the lions calling and were woken up again by them fighting over the hippo remains. We could still hear them when we were woken up in the morning and we were barely out the door when they rushed us into the vehicle. Breakfast was not important! We sat there for an hour or more watching the sun rise and the lions feed. Unfortunately the direction of light was not in our favour. An amazing sight to see the lions feeding in the river. Nicole
