I had to join the fun. This is one that I captured in the past one early morning here in central Wisconsin.

Oh Gosh! I cannnot imagine being in a kayak and seeing this !!!!!!! I think that I would roll over with my excitement! Beautiful capture !!!!!!! PS: I have lived in La Crosse.

Now this is one fantastic display of southern latitude Aurora..WOW !!

when this one hit the light table I can just imagine the smile you must have had.. :wink:

I understand that because of the differences in the atmosphere southerners and european countries see so much more of the red/orange colours..ours are pretty well always green and whites..although over the years we are seeing more reds and oranges...must do some studying on this.
