Nice palette of colors here. It's unfortunate that there are strong burnt highlights on teh flowers, but otherwise it's well done.

Hi Katy
An excellence image with a good diagonal composition that works well. For your information I think that this is a 6 Spot Burnet. Although I’d agree that some of the flowers are a little hot, I do not find this distracting and sometimes as in this case you have to exposure for the subject, letting everything else fall where it will. IMO you have made the correct exposure choice and I like this shot a lot.

Too bad that the flowers at the top were so hot. The moth is gorgeous. Very cool and a great combination with the purple flowers.

Sort of weird at how the flowers are very contrasty looking but the moth is more toned down.
Still a cool looking shot of "one beautiful moth"!!! :)
