common darter closeup

size 30mm, born last week on one of our pond plants; Nikon D70, micro Nikkor 105 and 1.4 extender, 800 ISO (very dull day), slight crop and sharpening, level adjustment layer, manual metering and focussing, 1/15 @f11, tripod. Criticisms welcome,

This is an outstanding picture Monique. Your plane of focus is spot on. Very little noise despite the high ISO.

Nice to see another Nikon user here! :lol:
