Canon 10D, 180mm macro, 1/200 sec, f16, 2 EX550 flashes, ISO400

This is the same male io moth I previously posted but a much closer and more head-on view of him.

MARVELOUS!! What a cute looking guy! Well... he seems to be frowning a bit, but otherwise the fur is lovely!

The composition of this shot is really great. The slight tilt is great! The tight crop with just a bit of the wings still in the shot works nicely. Even the perch and background are great! No nits here. Lovely image!

Awesome. I really like this unusual pose/comp. Very well done and there is plenty of DOF to cover the important elements.
Thanks for posting,

His "cuteness" would simply overpower any nits, if there were any nits at all!
Simply fantastic!!!!! 8)

Hi Steve
Quite simply one really special image of a great subject. There really is not anything about this shot that I have even the slightest dislike (or nits if you like) for. A great image with a pleasingly warm feel to the overall shot. Tremendous work.

Regards
Matthew
