Despite the 95 degree temperatures I headed to the the NJ Pine Barrens to shoot some more sundews. The thread leaf sundew (D. filiformis) can be found all over the area (if you know its habitat). I find these subjects extremely difficult so shoot because they are small and the if if the DOF is too wide you risk including too much; too narrow, and you risk not including the important elements.
Please let me know what you think of this one. All of the comments I've gotten have been very helful so far, so keep 'em coming. Camera Model: Canon EOS 20D, Lens: 70-200, with TC1.4xII and 500D, Shutter speed: 1/160 sec, Aperture: 16, Exposure mode: Av, Exposure compensation: -1/3, Metering mode: Multi-segment, ISO: 400, Focal length: 140mm. THanks. Christoph
