This was taken in Etosha National Park, Namibia.

For E.J. - these are the fellas that left the footprints in my last posting in 'landscapes'. 'One day' I hope to be able to capture a shot with them actually on a dune..... one day...

I think this needs either greater DOF or the the focus to be more accurately on the foreground Oryx, but all comments gratefuly received.

Cheers,
Simon

Nice action & love all those spikes! You've got the issue of DOF; only other concern would be a bit more room all around to give a greater sense of the action.

Yes with more room it would show the motion much better. Its still an eye catching image with all of those beautiful horns.

Thanks all for the comments and I agree completely with all the ways it could have been improved.

I'll just have to make sure I return to Namibia to try again...

Cool shot. I would like to see more room mostly at the top.

An impressive looking animal. Loads of options to play with but this is a fine shot in my book.

This reminds me of a cave painting Simon! I agree with a touch more room - certainly on top, but a nice shot. 8) 8) 8) :D
