Nikon D70
Nikon 80-200/2.8 + KenkoPro 1.4TC
1/1600
F5.6

Taken at Okakuejo Water Hole in Etosha, Namibia.

This Zebra just stood and posed for ages, giving me loads of different angles to play with. I felt like I was doing a fashion shoot!!

Cheers,
Simon

What a lovely mohawk on this fella  Aside from the hairdo, I love the composition and pose here. Did you tell him to work the camera? 8)

I did actually try, but I was maxed out on my zoom and didn't want to risk spooking him by trying to switch my 1.4xTC for a 2xTC. The closest I got really is this or one I've posted in my portfolio - might try a bit of judicious cropping at some time.....

Got to love the hair - and the pose! Only issue is a slight blue cast but that's easily corrected.

Amazing image and extraordinary markings, well-shown. I don't see any blue on this monitor (one I normally do not use) but am wondering about a slight contrast adjustment to enrich the darker tones. Will take another look later on a different monitor.
