The fog bank is closing in on Ano Nuevo island just at sunset...
Copyright 2004, Anders Landin Canon 10D, EF100-300/5.6L@300mm, ISO 100, f/8, 1/8s Ano Nuevo Island, CA I liked the strong contrast between the creamy red sky from the setting sun, and the island deep in darkness with the fog bank approaching. These waters are infamous for frequent sightings of great white sharks, feeding off of the elephant seal colony on the island and the nearby state beach. Please hammer on & thanks for looking!
