Here is a fungus I shot last weekend while on my 1st bird club meeting in my new city of Bundaberg, Queensland.
Image
D1x, 105mm lens, f13 @ 1/2.5sec 125iso, white balance - shade, Reis tripod, Markins ballhead.

When one walks through the rainforest at night this fungus occurs in clusters sometimes and the light show is magic.

Cool. Wouldn't it be great to get a shot of it glowing.
This is very nice. I love all of the rich earth tones. Very well done.
Thanks for posting,

Very interesting. I hope you go back and get a shot of this glowing!

While I was in the Army a gazillion years ago, someone showed me some US cousins of this glowing in the Alabama woods, and I now wish I'd been into photography in those days, and had a camera and tripod along to capture that glow!

great shot of a cool fungus. Fungi as a whole seem very difficult to capture well. You have done a great job on this one. Detail is incredible, colours also. That long exposure time did the trick.
