Hi

Lots of positive aspects to this image that I like, for instance the composition is strong and appeals, and the subject makes a good impact in the frame. What really would help improve the overall look is the lighting - this is not very flattering in appearance and I would suggest with trying for more subdued a look, or for a stronger pin light approach that uses high contrast in a locally controlled way to add drama / strength to the subject

All the best
Matthew

The lighting doesn't bother me, I can pretend it's the moon....it's the lack of sharpness anywhere and how the one antenna becomes lost in the edge of the branch. The rest of it I like a lot. Thanks for posting.

Nice view, fine diagonal lines. The light was not in your favor, the bright highlights on the snail are distracting.

Nice image of a snail. A stronger sharpening would make it even better.

real nice but a lower shooting angle would put the antennae against the BG better
Enjoy viewing
