Early morning stack of a very co-operative robber fly. It did initially move a bit but then settled down again allowing me to fire off a series of shots for a couple of stacks.
5:30 am, but still a fairly warm morning so there weren't too many insects still "sleeping". Also very little morning dew to keep anything still. I was lucky with this robber fly. Canon 7DII Canon 65mm MP-E (@ 1x) - this guy almost too big for this lens on a cropped body. Mixed light: natural light BG, diffused twin flash for subject. 1/125 | f/5.6 | ISO160 99 images stack in Zerene |
