Flamingo Tongue (Cyphoma gibbosum) a mollusk in the Cowrie/snail family.
It lives on and feeds off soft corals. The gaudy pattern is actually an apron of soft tissue, the mantle, draped over the plain shell, which can retract back when the animal is threatened. Nikon D3s, Aquatica housing, Inon strobe, 105mm micro, f16, ss1/250, ISO 200. Stan
