hey guys!

Here's another shot from Stanley, Idaho. specifically, Redfish Lake.
it's a fabulous campground spot, with my campsite being 20 yards to the left of this photo..

enjoy :-D

Nice sweeping curve of the near shore. Maybe you could have removed that stick thing just up on left edge. It catches the eye a bit, but maybe the grass area would be too bare without it. Well put together photo regardless. :D

hm...i didn't notice them till you mentioned them (i have a bad habit of thinking too hard about one aspect of the image, and forgetting completely another aspect..like horizons ;) )

i'll see how it looks without them!

Very nice use of foreground elements and leading line. Good timing with the light just coming down the tops of the peaks too.

Hi Vito,
You are in my stomping ground here.
I just live 2 hours from where you took this shot.
Nicely done. Like the depth in the photo and the change in light as the first rays of the sun hit the peaks.
Well done.
Did you get any shot of Little Redfish. It looks amazing at dawn.

Hi Vito,
Yes it is about 1/2 mile down the road.
If you look a few days back in the forum you can find a couple photos I posted of Little Redfish and Stanley lake which is a couple miles on the other side of Stanley.
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Idaho. The area you visited is kind of crowded with people but it is very pretty.
