American Bison
Yellowstone NP I was intrigued by this situation when shooting and envisioned the silhouette of the lone bison against the clouds. Once I got this in PS, with almost no color in the original I decided to try it as a monochrome, and found it was much closer to my original vision. A light sepia filter gave it more of an "old west" feeling. I hope this is allowed in this forum? I've done very few b/w conversions, this used channel mixer, I welcome any inputs for improvement. I think I got the whites just a bit too hot. 1dmk2, 70-200 at 200mm, probably hand held. Cindy Marple
