Great shot. I'll bet it is even better at a larger size.

I have very much enjoyed your series from Tanzania. Your vision is unique and always done with professional quality. I only wish I had done as well while there. But, in the end, it is not the photography that matters, it is the experience, the memories, the very fact that we were there among the beasts. We should wonder how much longer this unique place will exist. For, the growth of human population will alter this special place. And we will no longer be able to share this place with our children and our grandchildren. And that, my friend, is what we should think about. For our natural world is disappearing. And we are left with the realization that our world will no longer be a place that any rational human will enjoy. Gosh, I miss this place, and I must return, not for the photography, but for the simple pleasure of being one with the place from which I sprang. Thanks for your vision and for you special captures. You are the best, and I among many, wish that we could have found the images that you have in such a special way.

Best regards,

Bill

Wow! This is fantastic with all these animals in the same frame. My wife and I leave for Tanzania on February 14 with Greg leading the workshop. It is still a few months away, but we are getting anxious. Thanks for posting this teaser.

Great photograph, EJ. I remember exactly where we were at that time. Well done.

Ed, you are going to have a fantastic safari. I only wish that I could have been your leader, but being a father at about that time just didn't work out for my going to Africa to lead 2 safaris. Perhaps you will get bit by the bug (highly likely!) and will want to return at a later date.
