Nice looking buck!

Bob, I feel your pain. I minimized my time in the Smokies as a result.

Beautiful capture.

For those of us not in-the-know, please explain the rules you mention. I looked on the web site and saw nothing that seemed prohibitive. I was planning to visit this Fall.

Very nice portrait of a great looking buck. I like the mossy log in the background. The detail in his face is excellent. I think I can see your reflection in his eye :D

I was fortunate enough to spent a wonderful week in Cades Cove a couple years ago photographing the whitetail rut and was sad to hear about the new policies :(

Very nice with the log BG and impressive rack! Beautiful details too. 8) A good head angle to show off that rack.

It a bit tight for me, but that a matter of personal taste.

Beautiful shot of a fine looking buck Robert. Great portrait and the texture of the fallen log makes a sweet BG. 8) :D

Exellent portrait with a certain sense of calmness. I personally love the diffused lighting on this image. The background is a perfect setting for this beautiful creature. Looks like next year he'll have a couple more points to show off! :)
