We have been stalking deer in a forest for more than a year, walking miles and enjoying the challenge; this Summer we concentrated on shots of females and young. Taken very early in the morning in a field on the edge of the wood. These are Sika deer, they are feral, run wild and tend to be a problem in some areas; they are regularly culled in the Autumn/Winter. Nikon D70, 80-400 VR. No cropping, some sharpening, adjustment levels. I could have cloned the grass stalk but preferred not to.

I'm used to white-tail deer, so this looks like a big fawn licking a tiny doe!! :D :D Cute shot.

What is it with mothers always checking if their children have washed behind their ears!

Sweet shot of these two and it certainly has great appeal! 8) :D

A very tender image. :D The doe looks like she got another one in her- must be some good grazing in that area!

I'm not sure what's in the BG, but a slighter lower angle would have been nice.
