Los Ebanos Ranch, Mexico, about 150 miles south of the border and 10 miles inshore from the the Carribean (Gulf of MExico).
Another snake, I hope someone can identify this one. Using CS2 seems to give me sharper results than PS 7. Anyone else had this experience? This was shot with a new, to me, 100-400. I like this one better, My results are interesting. The last 100-400 was great, but this one blows it away.Comments appreciated. For a closer look, check this one out in Macro.
Thanks to Tom Bently for the ID

Steve,

I cannot help on the ID, but I love the image. I have mentioned before that my images appear better sharpened in CS 2, but others have said I am wrong  It is only the end result that matters. I have also been playing with the new Smart Sharpen and now prefer this to UnSharp .

Best, and I look forward to seeing you again. Perhaps, Bosque?

I would guess it's a King Snake. I know there are several varieties and I don't know which flavor this one would be. Perhaps a "Common".
