Should I crop the left side to get rid of the yellowish object in the upper left, or not? Any other advice appreciated.
Thanks!

Love the pose with the leg up and the look at you. I would use curves to add just a bit of contrast here. On the crop on the left, if I was printing at 8x10, a bit off the left would come off; otherwise, I would leave it at is. (If you crop out the yellow object, then you bisect the brown rock and if you take out the rock then you cut off the log, and ... :) )

Great pose and look on this bear. I'd take a bit off the bottom and just enough to remove the yellow object on the left. a beautiful shot!

Great shot, with the eye contact and raised paw.

I think Rich raised some good points. If you reallyt want to get rid of the yellow thing, cloning might be better than cropping.

I would not crop that - there is plenty of similar yellow in the photo so its not distracting.

This is what I like inclusion of the natural environment. Great shot.

As suggested a little PS work to bring up the bear and down the brighter water in the FG.

The yellow in the BG is just a rock and is natural to the yellow on the log.

Nice shot with the raised paw. It certainly has some odd coloration on the face.

I'm with Rich on increasing the saturation or tweeking it with curves.

The yellow stuff looks like more popweed, which is the aquatic plant immediately behind the bear.

Thanks, all for your help! I appreciate it! BTW, Tim, are you referring to the forehead of the bear? In a different, closer shot, I can see that he lacks a lot of hair there; quite a bit of skin, in fact.

Nice shot Dave and fine for my tastes just as it is. I see no need to crop. 8) 8) 8) 8) :D
