Is this place to the right of the four way stop sign out of the park?

Nice image, Tilo. The gator peaking out of the muck is striking.

The lined here combined with the unusual background make this a winner.

Love the composition and the duckweed. Just wish there was a catchlight or something in the eye to bring it to life.

In full size there is detail in the eye. Looking at the exif data, I did actually use fill flash.

Nicely seen and captured. The eye really does jump out. I would be tempted to selectively lighten the eye just a bit, especially given the detail you've got there. (Duckweed really soaked up the fill flash!! I never would have guessed you used flash from the original.)

Cool shot!

You know, I actually prefer the crop of the eye to the full-sized image!
