These two young foxes were having waaaaaaaay too much fun with their play-fighting outside the den night before last. One of them is scratching while the other is coming around to sneak up on him from behind...

Full frame except for a little off the top and bottom to fit 8x10

Hard to be helpful when I think all these fox photos are terrific at first sight. I would take this any day; would also like to have more dof to get the full details of the fox in the BG. Are they really so richly-colored?

You've got some great fox shots, but this has to be my favourite since it really tells a story rather than just a beautiful portrait.

Not sure I'd change a thing about it. Great shot!

Cheers,
Simon

Love the expression and intent !!!! Don't know what your aperture was but since the front is razor sharp the back is fine for me 8)

Must be hard to shoot and concentrate with their playing 8) Has to be a blast !!!! Hope to get lots more!!! 8)

I really like this as is. With the background fox just out of the DOF, it adds to the anticipation of what is about to happen. Excellent shot.

Wow ... the amount the second fox is out of focus is just perfect.

Very cool!

Very nice. I'm another one who likes the OOF one in the background with the "what's he doing" look; makes the shot. Saturation might be a tad over based on the background grass.
